Registration Wizard PlugIn

The Registration Wizard adds a programmable enrollment system to your Clients and your Server. Your clients will be able to register with your RBS Server automatically. Their accounts will be added and activated immediately with no intervention from the Server Operator. A Wizard lets you customize the registration screens the Client uses when he signs up for your RBS Service.

The Online Installer PlugIn enables your RBS Client Software to be installed from your web site or your RBS Server Computer. You can also optionally update your Client software from the same locations, giving you more control over your updates.

The Mirror Server mirrors the contents of your critical RBS Server folders to a remote computer. It keeps an exact duplicate of your RBS Server at a remote location. The package consists of two applications - the Mirror Server, which runs on your RBS Server, and the Mirror Client, which runs on your remote computer.

To save bandwidth during the busy night-time hours, the Mirror Server can operate out of band. It runs on a schedule that you can set up, and usually operates during the daytime - or whenever "out of band" is for your service. It can be set to launch weekly, daily, hourly, or every few minutes. (We don't recommend running it every few minutes.)

The Mirror Server provides a hot backup of your RBS Server. In the worst case, where your RBS Server is destroyed, you can re-install the RBS Server software on your remote server and redirect your clients through DNS or automatically through the Server Locator. Your RBS Service can be operational again in the time it takes to re-install the software and modify DNS (about 5 minutes). In less severe cases, you can simply copy files back to your RBS Server if needed.

Mirror Server

SQL PlugIn for RBS Server

Add the power and speed of Microsoft's SQL Server to your RBS Server. Designed for RBS Servers with 50 and more clients, this PlugIn replaces the default MS Access database with a connector to Microsoft's SQL Server.

This PlugIn includes the free Express edition of SQL Server, and also works with other editions.

Installation automatically migrates Access data to the new SQL database.
