Mounting Virtual Image (VHD) Files

Remote Backup writes its Full Image Backups into Virtual Image Files which can be directly mounted as logical drives. Once mounted, the files can be browsed using regular Windows Explorer. Files can be copied, and programs can be run from it. It is an exact replica of the original hard drive from which it was copied.

If the original drive was bootable, the VHD file will be bootable, too.

There are several ways to mount a VHD file, depending on your operating system and your needs. Find the best method for your needs by doing a search for "mount vhd file"
