In Repair Mode, SiteShelter automatically repairs an Internet site after it is defaced or damaged by a hacker.
In Repair Mode SiteShelter monitors an Internet site (as in Watch Mode) comparing the files to a snapshot that it has taken previously. If it detects that any of the files on the Internet site have been modified or deleted, it replaces them on the Internet site with files from its snapshot in its Local Storage. However, to eliminate the possibility of accidentally erasing files, if new files are added to the Internet site which are not in SiteShelter's snapshot, it WILL NOT delete them from the Internet site.
To make an authorized change to an Internet site, first disable SiteShelter from running in Repair Mode. Then make changes to the Internet site, then use SiteShelter to take a new snapshot.
