Just wanted to tell you thanks for saving me the other day with the key/file recovery, I really really appreciate it. I know it was beyond what you should have had to do, and wanted to let you know that I realize it and am grateful. Your help is appreciated more than you know. I don't know how best to say thanks, but in my eyes it raised RBS up a level or three above the rest. S.S. Mesa, AZ

HOW DO I USE THE SERVER LOCATOR?
http://rbsdrive.com/rbstech/TS100038.HTM
Article Number: 100038
Software: SERVER LOCATOR Version 8.3
NOTE: This article contains information that has been supersceded in part
by a more recent article. After reading this article, please see this article about
changes in the Server Locator and Host Names
In versions greater than 8.2.2108 the Server Locator functionality is built into the RBS
Server. There is no need to run the old "rbslocator.exe" program. If it is in your startup
group, delete it.
The Server Locator service works only when your Maintenance Subscription is in force. To
renew your Maintenance Subscription take this link.
To use the Server Locator, use your Host Name instead of your IP address in the RBS
Utility. The host name is like a domain name only longer. It is made of your RBS Server's
serial number plus the domain name of RBS's DNS Servers, like this:
7654321012.ddns.rbsnet.net
Replace "7654321012" with your serial number. Note: "7654321012" is not a valid serial
number.
